GMP CERTIFICATION

A GMP is a system for confirming that products are constantly produced and controlled according to quality standards. It is designed to decrease the risks involved in any pharmaceutical production that cannot be eliminated through testing the final product.

The Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) certification scheme offers independent verification and certification that the basic practices and pre-requisites for the application of an effective HACCP food safety programme, are being appropriately followed. GMP compliance assures that sanitary and processing needs applicable to all food processing establishments are met.

Compliance with GMP needs entails minimum common sense sanitary and processing necessities applicable to all food processing establishments.
